<p>The American Councils of International Education: ACTR/ACCELS is pleased to announce the open competition for the Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP) for the 2013 spring semester. More detailed information about the program and application procedure is available<a href="http://www.americancouncils.am/junior-faculty-development-jfdp-application/"> <strong>here</strong></a>.</p>

<p>American Councils organizes <strong>workshops</strong> about the JFDP application and selection process and on how to fill out the application form on<strong> May 30, June 1, 5, and 7 at 16:00. </strong>Please contact American Councils’ office to sign up for one of the workshops<strong>.</strong></p>
<p><strong><br /></strong></p>
<p>American Councils also offers a <em>unique opportunity</em> to the JFDP applicants who need advice on how to prepare their Statement of Purpose for this program. Interested applicants may receive <strong>individual consultations on how to prepare their Statement of Purpose from the JFDP alumni!</strong> Please call American Councils office to learn more about this opportunity and to sign up for the consultation.</p>

<p>In partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan and the U.S. Alumni Association of Armenia, the EducationUSA Educational Advising Center of Armenia will organize the second EducationUSA Alumni Education Fair in Armenia on May 18, 2012 from 14:00 to 16:00 in the Congress Hotel Ball Room (Italy Street 1). Anyone interested in learning more about higher education in the United States or continuing their education in the U.S. is encouraged to attend.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Dozens of U.S. Foreign Service officers and family members, other U.S. citizens and Armenian alumni of U.S. universities will share their U.S. higher education experiences and will be ready to answer questions from visitors.  Promotional materials, including brochures and handouts, from the universities being represented will be available for distribution. The fair is open to all interested visitors. Entrance is free of charge.</p>
