American University in Bulgaria AUBG


American Councils for International Education supports to implement the open competition scholarship program of American University in Bulgaria(Blagoevgrad). AUBG is accredited both in the US and in Bulgaria, and academic credits are fully transferable in Europe and in the United States.

 

For Fall 2012 AUBG offers a four year Bachelor of Arts degree in following majors:

  • Business Administration
  • Computer Science
  • Economics
  • European Studies
  • History and Civilizations
  • Information Systems
  • Journalism and Mass Communication
  • Mathematics
  • Political science and international Relations

OSI scholarships are full or partial depending on test results and application package evaluation by the university. The scholarship does not cover residence hall and student activity fees, travel, visas, residence permits, and health insurance.

 

AUBG provides American-style liberal arts education with English as the language of instruction. Lecturers are invited from U.S. and European countries.

American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) Representatives in Armenia!


From October 31st to November 5th AUBG representatives were in Armenia. Lyudmila Uzunova, Admissions Counselor & Recruitment Coordinator,Nedyalko Delchev, Theatre Professor, and Ani Hovhannisyan, AUBG Recruitment Coordinator, visited many schools in Yerevan and presented AUBG education opportunities and scholarships for Armenian applicants. AUBG team also organized two presentations in American Councils office. Arusiak Kanetsyan, who was the first applicant from Armenia in 1998, shared her experience and impressions about AUBG.

Educational Summer Camp

The Educational Summer Camp is a summer camp for high school students that features classes on writing, business, communication, journalism, and computer skills. The high school summer camp is a great way for you to spend a summer learning and having fun with peers from all over the world on the secure, modern campus of the American University in Bulgaria.
